President’s Report:
Nothing new to report
Secretary’s Report:
The minutes of the last meeting were corrected and approved as corrected.
Treasurer’s Report:
Phil Mann reported that we had about $3,000 available for charity if we so choose.
Paul Harris Fellow:
President Sink has requested that, since he already has PHF recognition, that the traditional PHF contribution to his presidency be used in another way—possibly to further the club toward 100% PHF.
Committees for next
year:
Vice President Dave Turnage presented a list of his committee chairmen and members for 1006-07. (See attachment below). It was moved, seconded, and passed that the board accept the committee assignments.
Misc. Items:
After meeting, Dick Fisher reported that he had set up for Holiday Party Tues. Dec, 5th, 2006 in the lower room of the Alamance Country Club.
Phil Mann suggested and it was approved that the club board act as the charity fund committee.
Dave Turnage announced that the Mitzi Ellis, District Governor for 2006-07, will visit our club on August 14.
Next board meeting will be held Thurday, July 13, 2006.
